I'll put another one forward, having just found a great aunt twice removed registered as Minnie.

So wondering how common this was I have just done a FreeBMD search on Minnie an found that there were 193,982 of them in England alone between 1837 and 1915

And there were 15,467 Polly registrations in the same period.
