My Mannila family comes from Alajarvi and Sarajarvi in Finland. They first moved to Toivola, Minnesota and then to Quincy, Oregon which is in Columbia County, but not far from Astoria (aka Little Helsinki). Heiki Mannila, Erki Mannila and more were brothers who came about 1905, following brother Victor Pumela (buried in Clatskanie, Oregon). The Mannila's are part of the Nelimarkka Clan in Finland.
