I have an obit, but that only tells who survives him. I am not sure of the religion - I looked at some biographical items, but couldn't find anything.
Thanks for the ideas. If I get to Clermont County OH I will try to check out the wills, perhaps I will find his name as a (recipent) if a parent died and left anything.
