Classification: Query
Surnames: Barrett; Shaw
James Barrett was born in County Mayo, Ireland, probably in the 1790s.

By the mid-1830s, James was living in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England, with his wife Mary Shaw (who was also born in County Mayo) and several children. James' oldest known child (John - born around 1832) and youngest known child (Anthony - born 1843) were born in County Mayo, with the other children born in Huddersfield.

James Barrett died in Huddersfield in November 1879 and was buried in the Edgerton Unconsecrated Cemetery, Huddersfield.

When was James born? Where was James born? Was Mary his second wife? Where were his sons John and Anthony born?
