? Robert's date of birth was originally thought to be 1810 but other records prove it to be 1814. Also im not sure wether Robert adopted the Johnson spelling of his name Johnston, before or after entering the US.

And yes there so many Robert Johnston's it's hard to filter who's the relatives and who's not.
But im very grateful for all the info you have given :-)
