Hi Beth,

The word after the name is I think his occupation, which looks like "Postdriver" - not sure whether it means someone who transported the mail, or who drove posts into the ground though!

The heading of the column above the dates says "Proc", I think, which I assume means "Proclaimed" or "Proclamation", as in the dates when the Banns were read. I'm not familiar with Scottish banns, but in the Church of England, banns have to be read on 3 consecutive Sundays before the marriage, so I'm surprised to see that there are fewer than 3 dates in this column really, but as I say, Scottish banns are not my real field of knowledge. Perhaps that helps a bit though, and hopefully someone with better knowledge will be able to clear it up for you.
