I'm researching the 2nd couple from the top of the page, Alexander Cairns & Elizabeth Smith. Any ideas as to what the word after 'Alexander Cairns' might be? And any thoughts as to what the 3rd column (after 'Residence') is headed? And why there are 2 dates given for for Alexander & Elizabeth?

Any ideas would be appreciated, I know banns tend to don't offer much new information but i was surprised to by the 2 dates given and am curious about the mysterious word following Alexander Cairns name in the first column.
