I forgot to mention that usually clerks will search a range of time if you don't know the exact date. Since you have narrowed it to Nov 1905 - Dec 1906, that shouldn't be a problem.
If they insist on the exact date, you can go another route and rent the Franklin County Death Indexes AND Death Records on microfilm from the nearest Family History Center (aka Mormon Genealogy Library.) They have 1867-1908. It will cost much more than a dollar, though! See familysearch.org to find the nearest library.
