There are a lot of records for pubs etc at the records office, a lot of them are catalogued under different references, for example files beginning with KIR are the files of Edmuund Kirby (architect), it would be a painstaking task to go through all the records. Not so easy at the moment with the archives being at the Satelite site, I think you can only request to see 3 items at a time, then there is the appointment system, it was better when everything was all in one place. I go to the temp library in the museum, mainly to look at church records on microfilm.
