I am researching the Metz family from Pa. I know there are quite afew. The family I need was first (Ifound) in US is Johann Jacob in the 1700. He had several children one namedSebastian. Sebastian had several sons. Christian, John Adam ,Jacob, Michael. In the 1800 the family lived in Dauphin Co Pa At least most of them . Jacob was in Perry Co Adam I am not sure of. There were also children of each. Some of the children's names were William, John, Christian, Michael, Peter this is for starters. I don't know if the bible you have mentions these or not. They were Lutheran and attendedSt John's Lutheren Church
