Brian,

All of the information you have gathered is important to you and will be important to someone in years to come, if it is preserved. As for me, I make regular digital backups to my files and keep it in a fireproof box. I also keep a paper copy of the direct descendent file. Recently, I added a portion to my will that provideds for all of my formal and informal research documents, etc. to be preserved by either family , local historical/genealogical society, regional archives or library. Wouldn't it have been nice if several of the ancestors that we've chased would have done the same thing?
