I was faced with the same issue. I researched a family in Nairnshire, Scotland. Downloaded numerous birth / marriage deaths, purchased several MI booklets, visited the area, etc.
I decided to make family trees out of the info that I acquired. I personally cannot recommend posting same to ancestry tree because folks have to be a paid sub to view same. I had already paid for the info and ancestry will never cover my holdings. The GROS has a tight seal on this.
If you want to share your info, I would get a site at tribalpages. It is free with advertisments. For about $30 / year you can go without them.
It seems to me that you have much to contribute. No matter which way you go (ancestry or tribal) please know how much the info you share is appreciated.
