Hello and thank you for replying. I have looked at the rootsweb link and I'm 99% sure that they are the same people. They are asking for the same amount of money and my dad paid by check so I will ask him to look at his bank statement to see if there is any info on there.
I did think back in December that this seems too good to be true, looks like I should have took more notice of that feeling.
