familytrace4fsk,
After you find the record in the index search (try first www.stevemorse.org), you may be able to get it at the NYC Archives on 31 Chambers St. Google it to find the range of certificates they have. If they have it, you can look at their microfilm for free and if it is the right one, they will print it out for you for $11 / certificate. This requires a physical visit. They are not digitized. Microfilm reels in drawers. It is self service. They have about 20 microfilm readers for you to use. Bring a magnifying glass. The quality of their microfilm readers vary and many are broken. Check their web site for their content and the hours open.
