I am posting as a warning to others who might be mislead as I was into subscribing to findmypast.com their so called Worldwide subscription

What I find is that many of the records available on the .co.uk findmypast are not available to the worldwide subscriber, clearly ridiculous to call something worldwide when you can't even access what is available in the UK site

Their baffling excuse which I have asked them to explain is that "The records are from an external source"

I also asked them when the release of the electoral rolls would be (they promised them in 2012, last year)

Their strange reply was

"Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any specific date for release of electoral rolls or if they will ever be made available"

A very strange way of doing business

Added to the above is the most bizarre search engine on the worldwide findmypast I have ever come across, you almost need to know the answer before you can find anything using it
