I would suggest you explore different websites by starting with Cindy's List. You can find out what records are available for where you are searching. They all vary, state by state, to different counties, to the availability of different records. You just have to explore and bookmark the good ones and visit often and keep abreast of new sites via Cindy's list. Check the "what's new" portion of her website and visit frequently. I've been researching for years, and am always finding new sites and very helpful genealogy buffs.
