I recently discovered scotlandspeople.gov.uk which i found was amazing showed much clearer documents and details of my ancestors that ancestry website, however it got to a point where i kept running out of credits i have spent about £18 so far on 90 credits and near enough spent up. ive gone a fair way back with my tree looking at these documents and then decided i wanted to come forward to present day through other siblings of ancestors. This posed a problem as i didnt know if they had died young or not married so the first thing i did was put them into the search field to find a marriage. The only way i could find if they were the right one is if there father matched up on the parish record. 24 results came up, that would cost me £24 thats alot of money.
Has anyone else found that this site gets to a point where its not worth paying so much for so little back. I have emailed them suggesting to add a subscription service like this site however i dont see them doing that if there making so much already as it is.
