Hi, I am trying to find anything on an accident that happened in Carroll county Ga. maybe Roopville, close to the Heard county line involving a car & a cattle truck. The year is any where from March 9th to Mar 14, 1942. The accident killed my grand father Jeptha Amos Vaughan, Mr. William Barnett was the driver of the car, it either killed him or his son William Barnett Jr., there was also a Arrington man in the car. I was told the accident happened because the fog was so thick you needed a knife to cut it, & the cattle truck didn't see the car when it pulled out of a road. Also is there any way to find out if any of this went to any courts & if any one's insurance had to pay the family's anything. My dad was 9 1/2 when this happened & his mom had passed 2 years before. The 3 children were raised by his mothers parents. Any info will be a welcomed surprise, Thank you, Ruth
