Gustaf Eriksson b.16 May 1855 Östervallskog, Varmland Sweden. Emigrated to New Zealand May 1872 then returned to SE, married and had children then on 18 Jan. 1876, Båstad sn Norge, he anecdotely, Emigrated again "to sell his farm in Australia" and dispite Interpol enquiries was never heard from again. He had previous seaman experience. And Australia could also have meant "America" even "New Zealand". Gustaf's parents were Ingeborg b.1824 and Erik Bryntesson d.1863. Widower Erik Persson d.1906 and Gustaf's mother Ingeborg d.1912 emigrated to NZ also on SS Høvding via Oslo in 1872 and settled in Dannevirke a Scandinavian settlement in the primeval "Seventy Mile Bush". Living decendants in New Zealand and Sweden are seeking information to whereabouts of Gustaf Eriksson's remains and particulars.
