Missing Balls - 1901 Census (London/Surrey Area)

Posted: 9 Nov 2012 8:35AM GMT
Classification: Query
Surnames: BALL
Trying to locate the Ball Family in the 1901 census.

In 1911, they are located at 14 Milcote Street, Southwark, St.George Martyr.

Ernest William Ball, Head, 38 (born between 1871 and 1873), b. London, Stereotypes Assistant
Kate (a.k.a. Katherine Elizabeth), 33, wife, b. Islington, London
Maud (a.k.a. Maud Katherine), 14, b. Walworth, London, burnisher.
Rose, 13, b. Walworth
Ernest W (a.k.a. Ernest William), 11, b. Walworth
Florrie, 8, b. Walworth
Alfred, 5, b. Southwark
Elsie, 3, b. Southwark
Arthur, 0, b. Southwark

Ernest and Kate had been married 16 years (although this conflicts with their bann records, which give a date of 1897 not 1895).

The family had two children that died by 1911, so earlier records may show some additional names.

I have searched Ancestry's database, but can't seem to find the family.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(Note I am also searching for the couples marriage record. See post (http://boards.ancestry.ca/localities.britisles.england.lnd.g...)

Thanks,
