The second name I am lost with is ODER. I dont have alot but my ggrandfather was Rev. William Frank ODER.(b 12/28/1897 d. 8/3/1979) He told me that his family was from Germany and that they had changed the spelling from ODOR to ODER when the family came to the states. I do not know which generation came over. His father was Frank ODER( no dates) married to Laura HARGRAVE. I found him in the 1900 census with William 2yrs old and another son Luther 2 months old. Laura wasnt mentioned. I know that Grandpa moved to Ohio around 1920 and I am not sure if anyone else went with him. Him and Grandma, Clara Elizabeth RIGGS(b.3/14/1906 d.5/8/1995) lived in Fayette Co most of their lives.

My 3rd name is RIGGS: This is Clara's family. I have her Grandfather Noah RIGGS (b. possibly 1841) married to Martha Washburn (b.4/18/1842 d.5/12/1914). They lived in Adams Co Ohio. They had one son I know for sure and that was Rev. John M. RIGGS (b. 1/25/1878 d.12/19/1962). He was married to Lillie INLOW. They lived in Adams and Fayette Co.'s. There may have been one other son George married to Bertha Thompson. My main problem right now is finding information on Noah. There is a possibility that RIGGS is not the right name. My aunt told me that one of them, Noah or before him, came to the states as an indentured servant. He was treated badly so he ran away and changed his name to RIGGS. I have found alot of information on the INLOW and WASHBURN lines. The person that gave me the INLOW info had all my RIGGS down as HURLEY. I am wondering if maybe that may have been the real name..I have death certificates for John and Martha. I dont know if the story on the name change is true tho. If anyone knows anything on these lines I will forever be your best friend.. :-)
