I thought I would post since I just joined, and I a looking forward to reading posts from other members of this list. I am researching the HUNT and GILDAE (other spellings) families of Cincinatti and Dayton Ohio. Both of these families are from Ireland. Thomas HUNT, the child of Thomas and Elizabeth HUNT, was born in Roscommon, IRE in Nov. of 1845. He married Margaret GILDAE, the child of Michael and Honora GILDAE, c. 1870 in Cincinatti, OH. Margaret GILDAE was born in 1850 in Roscommon IRE. Thomas had a brother named Peter HUNT and a sister named Elizabeth HUNT who possibly married into a BOYCE family.
