This looks like Samuel Martin Fraze in 1870, this means Joseph and M.E. are probably his parents:

1870 United States Federal Census about Samuel Fraze
Name: Samuel Fraze
Age in 1870: 4
Birth Year: abt 1866
Birthplace: Kentucky
Home in 1870: Litchfield, Grayson, Kentucky
Race: White
Gender: Male
Post Office: Leitchfield
Household Members:
Name Age
Joseph Fraze 27
M E Fraze 29
Samuel Fraze 4
M M Fraze 2/12
Hellen Kelly 20
Franklin Kelly 16

And this looks like him in 1880 - his father may be dead but it gives you his mother's name as Mary:

1880 United States Federal Census about S. Martin Fraze
Name: S. Martin Fraze
Age: 14
Birth Year: abt 1866
Birthplace: Kentucky
Home in 1880: Leitchfield, Grayson, Kentucky
Race: White
Gender: Male
Relation to Head of House: Son
Marital Status: Single
Father's Birthplace: Kentucky
Mother's Name: Mary E. Fraze
Mother's Birthplace: Kentucky
Household Members:
Name Age
Mary E. Fraze 38
S. Martin Fraze 14
Mary M. Fraze 10
Henry Clay Fraze 8

So now you know his father was probably Joseph Fraze, born about 1843 in Kentucky and probably died sometime between 1870 and 1880. His mother's name was Mary E. born about 1841/2. He had a sister called Mary and a brother called Henry. In fact, you can narrow down Joseph's death to probably between 1872 and 1880 since Henry was born in 1872. Henry's middle name is Clay - could be a clue to mother's maiden name (sometimes, children used their mother's maiden name as their middle name) but I wouldn't enter that yet.

If you're having trouble finding census records perhaps because you don't know a maiden name or the family moved around a lot and you don't know the parents name so it's difficult to confirm the right family, look for death records which will often tell you the parents names of the deceased. Marriage records may do so as well.
