I'm sorry you feel that people are 'stealing' your photos without giving credit to you - perhaps they are unaware of HOW to give you credit. (I personally have added photos to my tree from cousins that I've never met ... assuming that Ancestry.com would record the origin of the photo.) I never did it with malice and doubt most people do. I'm happy to share any photos that I might have because I'd like to see my children & grandchildren continue genealogy, but there is no guarantee. Perhaps when I die, my kids will likely destroy the photos that I have and they won't have been of any help to my distant cousins, etc. that are interested in their roots. I'm sorry that this frustrates you.
