All census records for my G.G. Grandmother say she was born in Ireland except for the 1930 census my GGgrandmother lists my GGGrandmother as "born at Sea" ( matches w/ what grandfather said before he passed on). I only have a possible maiden name to go by which was _______ Murphy on my G.G. Grandmother death record.
If Born at Sea abt 1835 and the ship leaves Ireland, where would the port most likely be in 1935 in the U.S. if your child is listed as born in Taunton, MA on death record? Boston?
And did the ships keep records of babies Born AT Sea abt 1835?
