My name is Pete.
Recently I uncovered some very old family photos from the 1890's that were taken in Dubno, Russia by my ancestors who were supposedly from Odessa...
My Russian wife confirmed that it is not Russian, an Israeli friend
confirmed it is not Hebrew... and everyone seems to think it's Yiddish.
But it is written in cursive, and I are not sure how to go
about finding someone who could translate what may turn out to be a extraordinarily fascinating script!
I am getting desperate, and thought this might be a way that I could find someone to help me.
I was hoping it might be possible for me to send someone scans of the photos and the writing -- and hopefully you have a way of translating -- I'd be so very grateful.
My whole family would be.
Thank you so very much in advance and thank you for reading and considering my request.
