Thank you for the full translation. I found that this Anton Fleck is not one of my relatives, but I could not have known without your precise translation. What threw me off was that both Anton Flecks lived in rural Marienthal, Sask. Canada, in the same time period, and both were married to a Margaretha. The clue to this not being my relative: my Anton had no sisters and no half-brothers in the United States, and also there was no family lore of a fire.

Here is a letter from the March 4, 1921 issue of the Nord-Dokota Herold. I believe this letter to be from Michael Fleck, brother of my grandfather, George L. Fleck. Again, the remaining letters are becoming harder to read.
