One gets attentive on your question there better.

http://boards.ancestry.com/localities.ceeurope.germany.saxon...

I want nevertheless to inform you about this tragedy in Dresden:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Dresden_in_World_War...

Luck!

gbr is short for "gårdbruker"/"gaardbruker" (scandinavian æ, ø å leters might be confusing?) and means farmer. He lived on, drifted and had a farm, and was a veterinerian.

i think all of u can find ancectors in the book "Draxten Folket", most people from Selbu, not far from Trondheim, called Sesseng and Morset are relatives. And these lastnames origin from Selbu.

Yeah, you'd think that would give you useful information... As it happens, my great-grandmother on my mother's father's side was daughter of a Kohen! I know his name and rough DOB and exact DOD and have a picture of his gravestone (with the hands and everything). Given the name, you'd think tracking Julius (aka Yehudah) Szerencsy, son of Aaron the Kohen would be simple. After all, there are loads of Szerencsys around, aren't there? LOL.

Sadly it doesn't seem to make more records on them magically appear :(

I don`t know if there is an english word for "Käthner". A Käthner is a little farmer who owns a cabin and a little bit of farmland. Wdzydze Tucholskie is the polish name for "Weitsee". "Weitsee" and "Wielle" are now locations in Poland. In former times they belongs to Germany/Pomerania.
In the second line, there are the words "né il y a trois semaines" which translate to " born three weeks ago". The baptism date is 19 December 1823. If the reference is to exactly three weeks before, the birth date would be 28 November. I determined this by visiting this link--
http://www.hf.rim.or.jp/~kaji/cal/cal.cgi?1823
