Lauren, as you get further into genealogy, it's not uncommon to find two men of the same name in the same county, married to women with the same first names; and each of whose children have similar names. That just means you have to use other records to determine which is yours. Genealogy takes time... usually many years. No quick fixes; by reading books and taking classes you'll learn the methodology to find your ancestors rather than chasing people with similar names. And even that happens to the pros.
