I am trying to trace the Maiden name of Caroline Chubb babt 1864. She married Charles Chubb between 1881 and 1891. Lived in Lambeth, UK in 1891 with children Caroline, Charles, Maud & Willis

In the past I have looked up the Husband's record of marriage then taken the surname listed of the partner checked to see if there is a match to the first name.

But it doesn't seem to list the partners name back in 1881, does anyone know when they started putting this on the records and any advice on how I can track down her maiden name

Thanks H
