Can anyone help.
I have a deceased male in a tree I have traced who I believe changed his name around 1912. the name he changed to only shows up again in 1958 when he dies (info from death certificate). The area he lived was the same throughout his early life and after the name change. the informant on the death certificate was a daughter, who I believe gave a married name. I have cross checked for a birth and marriage for the deceased male (unofficial name) but could not find either. so I believe there was no official marriage for the informants parents. Dilemma I am in is : - is the deceased male the correct person ( I believe I have covered all bases to prove the name changed person is correct), and did the deceased male tell of his previous life? Assistance would be appreciated.
