Thought I'd throw out this idea I had that would help facilitate sharing of information among researchers. My idea is a cross between the web site www.werelate.org
and ancestry.com 'family tree'. The object would be to create one tree that any could contribute to. Changes would be made based upon documentation and source information with perhaps questions asked to clarify the strength of the resource. Ancestry.com users could build their personal family tree, and also a collective tree that would be open to editing by all researchers.
