The one thing that we found very successful was to get a bouncy house for the young children so that the young mothers and dads could enjoy visiting and the rest of the activities. The rental cost was small in comparision to the rewards for both the kids and their parents. The rental came with a supervisor. The kids had a blast! Also we hired an Irish band and the younger parents enjoyed dancing the jig and everyone even those over 50 were tapping their toes.
