Hi Dan,
The names Sensenderfer, Sencindiver and Sensintaffar can all be traced back to one man, Johannes Martin Simpfendorfer, who migrated to US from Germany in 1743. His name was changed when in America to Sensendorfer. There are still Simpfendorfers living in the village that Johannes Martin came from 250 years ago. Let me know if you want more information.
