Yes, Samuel's parents were William & Elizabeth Greer. William Greer came from Ireland with his parents and married Elizabeth Robinson in Ontario, they moved to Minnesota. William's parents were Robert Greer of Ireland and ? Angus of Scotland.
Samuel Greer married Eliza Rice, daughter of Elijah (Pappy) Rice of Kentucky. My father Leonard Greer is one of Samuel and Eliza's son's.
We have located descendants of other Greer branches, and also descendants of other Rice branches.
