I am trying to locate info on the Hungarian von Nemethy name, my ancestors were born in Ragusa Dalmatia (Dubrovnik Croatia today) allthought Nemethy is a Hungarian name that's where they lived, my great great grandfather was named Ignaz Amerling von Nemethy and was born somewhere between late 18th or early 19th centuries.
we have a coat of arms of the nemethy name, it consists of a small arm (armoured arm) V shaped whith a small sword shaped as a quarter moon. There is a old family history as the Nemethy family been rebel to the Austrian Hungarian empire.
