John Spencer, 1st Earl Spencer (b. 1734, d. 1783) had 4 daughters by his wife Georgiana Poyntz: Georgiana (1757-1806), Henrietta (Harriet) (1761-1821), Charlotte (1765-66) and Louisa (1769).
Are you thinking maybe of the 1st Earl Spencer's only sister, Diana, who died as a child in 1743?
