I also was told that our 5/6x great grandmother Countess Perpetue de Paul de Lamanon d'Albe escaped to England in a dung cart and another cousin heard she had dyed her face with walnut juice but that is all I'm afraid. Angela Daymond in New Zealand has probably done more thorough research on that line of the family than anyone.
