The Principality of Poljica (Italian: Poglizza) was a couple of times under Venetian rule.
Venice recognized the noble families of Poljica. So there must be some records of them. Furthermore some of said families flew to Venice because of attacs of the Ottoman empire. As they were under Venetian rule, a lot of them had Slavic and Italian writing of their names.
What's the Italian version of Pezelj (is it Piccoli?). Any help or discussion is appreciated
Many thanks n advance! Regards,
