One last interesting point is you said:
Mary of Scotland was married three times:
1st in 1558 to Francis, dauphine of France (later King Francis II) who was her 5th cousin and who died 1560.
The name of the cemetery in Pittsburgh is Versailles. I believe Versailles is where the French Royal family is hanging out in France.
I am asking a tough question here. Just why is Gen Braddock, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Robert Spotswood, Christopher Gist and a whole cast of other people from Virginia willing to start the French and Indian War over 150 Native Americans living in Mckeesport?
The records are even clear on this. Less then 100 white people lived in the greater Pittsburgh area on July 9 1755 when the French attacked General Braddock and his men at the Myers/Frazer Land Grant just outside Fort Duquesne at Turtle Creek Pittsburgh. General Braddock was killed and that was the beginning of the French and Indian War. This is a very well documented expedition. Records show the day before the attack, they camped out at what is now the Versailles Cemetery at Queen Alliquippa Camp. The camp was empty because all of the Native Americans pulled back to Christophers Gists farm at Stewart's crossing.
