I am a direct descenant of a Plantagenet. My 78 th great grandfather is Edward I Plantagenet a.k.a Edward the Longshanks. If you want to know more about the royal line may I suggest looking at the website RoyaList Online. It is a royal genealogy database. I have it right now on my screen but it unavailable right at this moment. I have gone on it and have found birth and death date, places they were born and more, much more. It is an excellent source of information.
