Surnames: von Zapp
May I suggest you find the web sight called Brigget's Pages, there you will find a section that reads Royal and Nobles,
putt in the name of von Zapp.
If it comes up with no return then you will have an idea that Peter or the von Zapp name were not of royal or noble linage, But, if it come up as hit it will show who he was related to in royal linage. Please remember one can be part of royal linage as a noble family but not necesry royals themself but their children born within royal line would inherit royal titles.
The expert in royal genealogy is Leo van der Pass.
