thanks for the info...i think i can trace my tree back to him. but when i started with him and worked my way forward to get to my ancestor as close as i got was Lucretia Gautesdatter Dal (b: 1533 in Valen,Fjelberg,Hordaland,Norway) she married Nils Semelenge (b:1500 in Ron, Vesre Slidre) if you know where i can trace it farther forward to my ancestor i would appreciate it greatly...i would have to go about another 7 or 8 generations i believe to get to my mothers great-great-great grandfather who is the start of the link to harold.
