Interesting, yet confusing. I may be wrong, but it looks like Antoine was a Bourbon and became King of Navarre by marrying the heiress of Navarre. Seems odd that a son by a previous marriage would adopt the Navarre name. Was his mother also a Navarre?
Looks like you need to look into the history of Grosse Point and see if Robert is refferred to by any specific title. If he had one the records ought to indicate what it was. Most peers of the realm did not have to give up any titles to come to the new world on official business back in 1739.
