There was an actress named Caroline Miskel (born SCALES in Kentucky) who became the second wife of playwrite Charles Hale Hoyt, and died suddenly at age 25 years in New York City, October 1898. She was regarded as a remarkable beauty, and called an intellectual. Said to be the first woman to appear on a magazine cover. Any connection? or coincidence?
