Agree, the Chrome browser seems to work well with Ancestry.com. I can also share a good customer service experience from all this as well.
I contacted Ancestry's support team about the issue I was having on my tablet: repeatedly logging out of ancestry.com accessed on original iPad using Safari as well as using another browser called icab mobile. The support person told me what others have reported, that Ancestry doesn't support safari. He recommended using the Ancestry app and also suggested downloading Google's "Chrome" browser for internet searches.
I must say, Chrome has worked consistently well for me in the weeks since my call to customer service. If only I could get the Ancestry app to call up Chrome now, instead of Safari, when internet searches are needed. Other than that the logging out issue is resolved for me. I'm a happy customer!
