Funny that. As the apps you refer to are free, my (cynical) assumption is that this is the true cost :-)

Its nice to think they give away these free apps for our benefit - but does anyone REALLY believe that....

So, while I whole-heartedly agree with you, I won't be holding my breath, any more than I expect an answer when I ask them how I can completely eradicate the annoying wobbly "hints". I even have one on my own tree telling me when it thinks I was born. Its out by about 3 years and 6 counties!!!

Its all about marketing.
