Born with one Surname but adopted different Surname later

Classification: Query
Surnames: NAUGHTON, McNAUGHTON
A branch of my family were born NAUGHTON (Parents and Children) later they adopted the use of McNAUGHTON. When building the family tree on Ancestry I have used NAUGHTON. However these records will not be picked by seraches looking for their marriages etc as McNAUGHTON. As they were NAUGHTON I would like to show that as that shows their "correct" birth/origin details. The Parents reverted to their "real" surname when they returned to Ireland , just to confuse things. Any clues as to how to handle this in Ancestry?
