FTL Still in Business??

I recently purchased a new computer with Windows Vista. My old computer "shot craps" so I had to reload the software I had and thankfully I had loaded my one side of the family into my external harddrive. Unfortunately, not sure if GenCircles is compatible with Windows Vista. Everytime I log in, I get the welcome screen asking if I want to retreive my data from realtime internet server. I do, but when it finally does load, then I try to access a family line it is very slow or does open at all. I end up having to shut the program down and starting all over again. Feels like a but or it's just plain not compatible. All attempts at asking for help with Family Tree Legends have gone unanswered. Can anyone help???
