When I called the 800 number, they sent me a "File Conversion Utility" for converting between Apple and Windows files, despite my telling them that I do not now, nor have I ever, owned an Apple product computer. I wouldn't expect a lot from the support people on the 800 number after that experience. I still cannot convert my 2011 file but fortunately still have 2011 and the file on my laptop and have not installed the 2014 installation file on it. I am thinking that I never will. At least I have a database that still works. As an aside, I should also point out that since I installed 2014 on my desktop, 2011 (which is still on it) also does no longer work. 2014 is the equivalent of taking a "genealogy dump" on your computer.
